Claire groaned, feeling more movement inside her as the doctor ran the ultrasound wand over her bulging belly. She couldn't believe it: in her 40s, raising three teenagers, one of whom getting ready for college, and now she was going to have a fourth child to take care of. At least that's what she thought.
"From what I can tell right now, it looks like you're expecting twins," the doctor smiled, turning to Claire. "Congratulations."
Claire looked between the doctor, Gloria, and the ultrasound's display in shock. "Twins? I can barely raise my three kids now! You're telling me I'll need to raise two babies now too?"

The electric fan buzzed in front of her as she sat on the couch in front of the television, her cow ears twitching around her impressive horns, while her tail flicked about, shooing away the irritating flies on this hot, sticky summer day.
